The Ultimate Portable Workstation for Field Engineers
Working on-site around control panels, chillers, and electrical enclosures usually means balancing your laptop on top of dirty pipes or holding it with one hand. The G-AUTOMATION Magnetic Laptop Mount Set solves this by giving you a secure, hands-free workspace in seconds.
Key Features
- Non-Conductive Electrical Safety: Unlike aluminum or steel brackets on the market, the main body is 3D-printed in non-conductive PETG polymer—providing a much safer barrier when working inside live electrical enclosures and control cabinets.
- Lightweight: 0.5 Kg, easy to carry.
- Engineered for Tough Environments: Industrial-grade PETG construction offers exceptional impact resistance and thermal stability up to 75°C (167°F).
- Ultra-Grip Neodymium Magnets: High-grade magnetic bases lock solidly onto flat steel control cabinet doors, Rittal panels, and chiller frames.
- Dual Ergonomic Angles: Quickly switch between 60° Incline Mode for comfortable standing typing and 90° Vertical Mode for tight space monitoring.
- Scratch-Free & Slip-Resistant: Features integrated non-slip rubber padding and a heavy-duty front lip to prevent scratches and keep your laptop firmly in place.
- Field-Tested Load Margin: Laboratory and field-tested to hold up to 8–10 kg—giving you a massive safety margin for standard 2–3 kg field laptops.

⚠️ Important Safety Notice & User Responsibility
PLEASE READ BEFORE USE:
- User Mounting Responsibility: The ultimate grip strength depends entirely on the thickness, surface flatness, and metal quality of the mounting panel. The user assumes full responsibility for testing and verifying a rock-solid magnetic grip before leaving equipment unattended.
- Ferrous Surface Requirement: Magnets require clean, unpainted or light powder-coated ferrous steel. Non-ferrous surfaces (aluminum, stainless steel 304/316, copper, plastic) will cause a drastic drop in magnetic strength (up to 90% loss).
- Surface Preparation & Leveling: Always clean the metal contact zone of oil, grease, water, or heavy dust to prevent downward slippage[cite: 3]. Never mount on severely sloped or unstable panels.
- Magnetic Fields: Neodymium magnets emit strong magnetic fields. Maintain a minimum distance of 30 cm (12 inches) from pacemakers, implanted medical devices, credit cards, and unshielded magnetic media.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute life saver for site work!
”Honestly wish I’d picked one of these up sooner. Working in cramped plant rooms and BMS panels usually means balancing a laptop on top of dirty pipes or straining your neck while standing. This mount makes set-up effortless—it grabs onto panel doors securely in seconds.
It’s lightweight and easy to carry in my tool bag, but rock-solid when mounted. Makes writing up commissioning paperwork, carrying out BMS logic changes, and showing live programming or graphics to clients infinitely easier. Hands-down one of the best quality-of-life upgrades for any field technician.”
